Ayesha Takia Into The Regime Of Burqa?

In the Bollywood industry heroines after marriage often makes a disappearing act or often wed late to reign their film career. Ayesha who has finally tied her knot with Farhan Azmi is rumored to make a disappearing act from film as she is bound to observe all the conventional rules after marriage.

But Ayesha has a different story to add about her in-laws and said it is ridiculous to hear such rumors that have no connection in her real life. Ayesha added, “I’m amazed at the games people play. The other day someone asked me if I’ve started wearing a burqa after marriage. Far from feeling clamped I now have the freedom to do more things than before. My parents-in-law are cool about my business ventures with my husband and my film career.”

With a light air to the rumors, she stated, “Farhan and I went around together for five years before marriage. So there goes the conservative card. Suddenly after we make it official I hear all kind of rumours including the fact that I’m out of Revathy Varmha’s film and that I’ve been replaced by some other actress.”

Ayesha Takia lashes out at Raj Thackeray

Ayesha Takia’s father-in-law, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Abu Asim Azmi was physically abused by a MLA of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) during his swearing in ceremony on Monday in Mumbai. The ruckus happened when MLA Abu Asim Azmi started taking his oath in Hindi, in spite of MNS’ demand that all legislators should take the pledge in Marathi.

Deeply hurt and shocked by the aggressive behavior of MNS with Abu Azmi, daughter-in-law Ayesha Takia Azmi lashed out on MNS whole and soul Raj Thackeray and his party. “I am shocked and disgusted by the behaviour of Raj Thackeray and his people. The way they behaved with Abu Azmi during today’s swearing in was really unbelievable and disgusting. Ayesha Takia lashes out at Baba Ramdev

Ayesha Takia has been getting great compliments on her recent weight loss and she credits it to Baba Ramdev’s Yoga. However, the actress who will soon sizzle on screen with ‘Wanted’ is upset with the Yoga Guru for his recent comments on actors.

“Baba Ramdev’s Yoga is very good. He is really a genius and I religiously follow him. But his comment that all the actors are characterless is very demeaning. I think he shouldn’t have made such a comment in general. It was a turn off,” said Ayesha talking about the issue.

Ayesha also informed that Baba Ramdev invited her once at one of his yoga sessions but looking at the huge crowd she decided not to attend it. Revealing the secrets behind her hot and healthier new look Ayesha said, “I am very careful about what I eat these days. For me dieting is not starving. I have included healthy options like salads, grilled chicken, green vegetables and juices to my diet.”

Ayesha is also taking tips from her mother to lose weight. “My body weight has been fluctuating. I feel that my body can look great if I work out and put some more efforts. I have great stamina and I can work out for hours. My mom used to be an aerobic instructor so she’s guiding me. My sister Natasha, I and my mom work out together.” She signs off.

Ayesha Takia moved to tears after watching ‘Paathshala

October 05, 2009, (Sawf News) – Ayesha Takia saw a preview of her upcoming film Paathshala which also stars Shahid Kapur, Suniel Shetty and Nana Patekar.

The film is about student-teacher relationship. “It’s a highly emotional subject, I can confidently state that it’s the most lavish children’s film made in India” said director Ahmed Khan.

Shahid Kapoor plays an English and Music teacher who comes into the lives of a group of young, troubled students. Nana Patekar plays the Principal, and Ayesha Takia is a teacher who looks into the extra curricular activities. Mehnaaz plays a school kid who falls in love with her teacher.

Takia is riding the wave of success with her recently released hit film Wanted with co-star Salman Khan.

Salman: Ayesha Takia not negative for WANTED!

Salman Khan’s upcoming Eid release, WANTED, is becoming hotter and hotter. As the D-day approaches huge posters and cut outs of the film can be seen adorning the walls of single screens and multiplexes. The music by Sajid-Wajid is fast becoming a rage, and ”Love Me Love Me” can already be heard on the streets. So, is there anything that is negative in the film?

Well, some people from the trade are of the view that Ayesha Takia, the lead heroine of WANTED is not a commercially successful actress. They feel that she may be very talented but after all these years, is still to deliver a commercially successful flick.

And people associate her with more of art house cinema like DOR etc, rather than an out an out commercial potboiler. Apart from that she is already married and sort of retiring from cinema. Ayesha Takia feels all the thrill and excitement for the release of her latest movie, ‘Wanted’. She stands up to the expectations of her fans in the movie and also assures for greater performance in the future.
