The charming and bubbly Bollywood actress Ayesh Takia will walk the ramp for designer friend Vikram Phadnis at the ninth International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards, starting June 6 in Bangkok. “I will be there for Vikram Phadnis, who is a very close friend of mine. He has designed some exclusive collections and it will be great fun to be there for him. Besides, I am also excited for my film ‘De Taali’,” Ayesha told IANS.

FIRST things first. Ayesha Takia is not getting married any time soon. When the actress remained incommunicado for the last few weeks (phone calls went unanswered and she was nowhere to be seen), rumour mills churned out news of her wedding plans to restaurateur boyfriend Farhan Azmi. “Such tales are spun every two months,” says Takia. “I will definitely get married to Farhan, but not immediately.

And when it happens, I’ll tell everyone.” The secret behind Takia’s frequent trips to Goa, with boyfriend in tow, is now out. The bubbly actress is all set to turn entrepreneur.

Ayesha Takia has been in the news of late for more reasons than one – her alleged liposuction to get into shape, for setting up a boutique hotel in Goa with boyfriend Farhan Azmi, and also for her impending marriage with him later in the year.

The pretty actress, who has finally shed all those extra kilos, is now looking svelte and sexy. Refuting all the rumours about her liposuction, Ayesha said that there has been a lot of talk about the means of her weight loss, but all that is not true. She also said that she has got into shape by hitting the gym and there is nothing more to it.

When asked about her marriage to Farhan, she said that they have been in love for two years now and she will get married only to him. But it’s not anytime soon!

Beautiful Ayesha Takia is getting married to her long time boyfriend Farhan Azmi. She has been dating Farhan for the last two years.

Though the date is yet to be fixed, marriage preparations are going on in full swing.
