Ayesha Takia is high on life and love and is blase about her relationship with restaurateur boyfriend Farhan Azmi . Does that in any way hamper her career prospects? “i have never thought about such things. i have been open about everything in my life and i feel if i love someone and i am proud of it, then i really won’t shy away from saying it. i think someone who’s in love would be happier and do better work. i am more creative when i am in love,” she exclaims.

Ayesha is nonchalant about Farhan’s case where he’d been detained in Dubai for alleged possession of drugs along with some friends in 2003. “i think everyone has a past and i know Farhan very well and i know what kind of a human being he is and what his past and present is. i am just lucky to be in love with a guy like him.

Even if i searched the globe, i would never find someone like him. So i’m just really happy and we’ve been together for almost two years now!” says the actor who thinks “sexy is an attitude and it would be vain to call herself that.”

What about marriage? “Farhan is definitely the right guy but i just don’t think that we are both ready mentally to get married. We know our level of seriousness but not marriage just yet,” she says.
