The bubbly, chirpy actress Ayesha Takia Azmi is taken in by love stories not just in real but in reel too.
Ayesha, who ha had a steady relationship with now husband, Farhan Azmi, for several years before getting hitched, admits being a romantic at heart. “I simply love to believe in love stories. They are so cute and mushy…I think everyone should believe in them, why just filmy people,” says Ayesha who played a romantic heroine in the recently released Nagesh Kukunoor film, “Mod”.
Though Ayesha received popularity with her de-glamourised role in Kukunoor’s “Dor”, which also featured Gul Panag and Shreyas Talpade, the actress says, “The genre of romance is perhaps the closest to my heart and I like the whole idea of feel good, look good roles and films that have a positive vibe.”
