Ayesha Takia stepped into Bipasha Basu’s shoes. As per latest, wonder gal Ayesha Takia has been roped in opposite John Abraham for Anurag Kashyap’s next ‘No Smoking’. Initially the role was offered to Bipasha Basu; needless to say Bipasha declined the role.

As per rumours the film’s story will revolve around a chain-smoker, which will be played by John, and the role offered to Bipasha will have not much to do in the film except playing love-interest of John, and that’s the reason Bipasha turned down the offer, though officially Bipasha said she had not sufficient dates to allot for this project.

Besides Ayesha and John, there will be director ‘Omkara’ playing an important role in the film. It’s for the second time Santoshi will be seen before camera, earlier he acted in a children’s film ‘Halo’. As per rumours, Santoshi will play a serio-comic character of a talkative medical practitioner who cajoles John to quit smoking.

Kumar Mangat of ‘Omkara’ fame will produce the movie, and Vishal Bhardwaj will score its music.
