Ayesha Takia is getting better with each new film. In ‘De Taali’, she just happens to be in the wrong company. The flick is no scale to measure her talent and maturity as an actress.
It starts off quite well and the bonding between the three friends viz. Paglu [Riteish], Amu [Ayesha] and Abhi [Aftab] is well established in the initial portions. Things perk up the moment Rimi Sen’s character enters the scene and shows her true colors. Everything’s fine till she’s kidnapped — the interval point. Things only go downhill in the second hour. The entire kidnap drama, special mention to the Saurabh Shukla track [it can't get weirder than this], is so ludicrous that by the time it reaches the finale, the viewer loses all interest in the enterprise.
