Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia has said that she chose the role in a film which satisfy her and she has no problems that Indian film industry is male dominated.
“I am not a feminist,” the actress, who is attending the IIFA ceremony here to promote her forthcoming film ‘De Taali’, said.
“It depends on the individual actor as to what kind of roles they would chose in such a scenario. As far as I am concerned, I do films which satisfy me. I love running around trees and singing songs as well as taking on the challenge of a film like Dor,” Takia said.
She said her new film talks about friendships. “Friendship whether it is among boys, girls or both is very important in life.” Ayesha said: “The story of ‘De Taali’ is about three friends Ritesh Deshmukh, herself and Aftab Shivdasani. The character of Rimii Sen enters in the movie to mess up their friendship.
