Ayesha Takia is the leading lady in No Smoking, but the new promos for the film, opening tomorrow, pretty much ignore her. Instead, the promos play up Bipasha Basu’s small part in the John Abraham starrer.

It seems the producers are hoping to cash in on the John-Bipasha chemistry and the publicity about their split/reuinion/split/reunion.

Can you blame them? The pic opens against Jab We Met which hit the jackpot in publicity when Kareena and Shahid split and Bebu took up with Saif Ali Khan.

John had no comment on Ayesha’s absence, but he did tell Times Now, “I think she [Ayesha] has done an absolutely wonderful and fabulous job. If ‘Dor’ gave her one award, I think this should nominate her for the other.”
