With the hot and sizzling promo of ‘No Smoking’ with John and Bips hitting the small screen with much hype and hoopla and the leading man promoting no smoking in a big way, suprisingly, the leading lady of the movie — Ayesha Takia — is conspicuous by her absence in the promos.

John Abraham, who is all out to promote the upcoming movie ‘No Smoking’ with great enthusiam, the promos have given Ayesha Takia a miss.

Interestingly, John-Bips split had hit the headlines and the filmmakers, it seems, are cashing in on their on-and-off relationship and have managed to garner eyeballs through the John and Bips smoking number for the film.

When TIMES NOW quizzed John as to why the leading lady of the movie has reportedly stayed away from the promotions of the film, he said:”You should actually ask Kumar Mangat (producer of the movie).

” On second thoughts, John added:”All I can say is about her performance in teh movie. I think she has done an absolutely wonderful and fabulous job. If ‘Dor’ gave her one award, I think this should nominate her for the other.”

When questioned about Ayesha’s absence, producer Kumar Mangat said:”Ayesha is shooting for another film, however, she is promoting the film full time.”

Though the unit largely remained tight-lipped on the issue, Ayesha’s absence clearly indicates trouble brewing between the leading lady and the other members of the cast.
